Sports Desk:  Bangladesh batted later in the first two matches of the series. As a result, they did not have the opportunity to score big runs by batting earlier. But in the third match, the hosts are unable to take advantage of that opportunity. Rather, their innings is progressing slowly.

As of writing this report, Bangladesh has collected 63 runs after losing 3 wickets at the end of 10 overs.

Bangladesh won the first two matches of the five-match T20 series against Zimbabwe. Nazmul Hossain Shantor's team is batting after losing the toss at Chittagong Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in order to win the series in the third match today.

There are two changes in Bangladesh XI in this match. Tanjim Hasan Shakib and Tanveer Islam are playing in place of Sheikh Mehdi Hasan and Shariful Islam. On the other hand, there are two changes in the Zimbabwe XI. Richard Ngaraba and Ndlovu are replaced by Wellington Masakadza and Faraz Karim.

Batting first, Bangladesh did not get off to a good start. 22 runs came from the opening pair of Liton Das and Tanjid Hasan. Like the previous two matches, Liton Das failed with the bat. Bangladesh's right-handed opener returned after being bowled by Zimbabwean pacer Blessing Mujarabani after scoring 12 runs off 15 balls.

Despite Liton's departure, Bangladesh's run rate did not increase. Captain Nazmul Hasan Shanto went back to 29 runs for three. Shanto scored 6 off 4 balls before being bowled by Zimbabwe captain and part-time spinner Sikandar Raja. After that, Tanjid and Tawheed Hriday tried to increase the speed of the run. The first six also comes from Tanjid's bat. But that attempt was thwarted when Tanjid got out after scoring 21 runs off 22 balls.
