Information Technology Desk: 5G mobile network is in operation in many countries of the world. Although 5G is not yet seen in Bangladesh. In the meantime, it was reported that Japan has invented the world's first 6G device. Which is 20 times faster than 5G. It is a prototype that can transfer data at a speed of 100 Gbps per second over a range of 300 feet.

According to IT media reports, the 6G device has been jointly developed by Japanese telecom companies including Docomo, NTT Corporation, NEC Corporation and Fujitsu. The results of this device were announced last month. It is claimed that the 6G prototype can achieve speeds of 100 Gbps using the 100 Hz band. To achieve the same speed outdoors, it uses the 300 Hz band.

The 6G prototype was tested at an area of 328 feet. The results are certainly exciting, but 6G cannot be considered a complete success as it has only been tested on one device and its commercial impact is yet to be seen.

Currently, 5G technology is the most advanced for global connectivity. Its theoretical speed is up to 10Gbps. However, the speed of 5G network is also different in different countries.

Apart from Japan, America and China are working on 6G. It is believed that with the advent of 6G, people will be able to have real-time holographic communication. People are also expected to have new experiences in the world of virtual and mixed reality.

Only 5G network infrastructure is being prepared in the world. It has not even started in many countries. 6G requires companies and governments to work harder. According to the report, mobile towers will have to be completely replaced and new smartphones with 6G inbuilt antennas will be launched.
